The Bessie Hicks senior’s program is named in memory of Ms. Bessie Hicks, founder of the Cosmopolitan Center in Utica. The program provides services to seniors . The Bessie Hicks senior’s program is unique in its operations because all of the programming is done by the seniors themselves; using skills that they acquired during their working years.
